VeeLoop is a finalist for Start-up of the Year at the West London Business Awards 2020. The awards have been running for seven years and recognise achievements of organisations and individuals in the area. View the whole shortlist here: https://www.westlondon.com/west-london-business-awards-2020-shortlist-announced/

Andrew Dakers, CEO of West London Business said:
“We have seen a surge in entries this year which shows the sustained energy and dynamism in the West London economic powerhouse. Our judges were particularly pleased to see the continued embedding of environmental and social sustainability into the practices of so many of the entries – critically important in an era where we must rise to the challenges of climate change and poverty in our backyard as pressure on food banks grows.”

The Awards are classified into five themes: SME sector leadership, sustainable & responsible business, economic growth, corporate leadership, and individual leadership.  Other shortlisted companies range from well-known brands like Cisco, Ibis and Kerry Foods to local favourites Brentford Football Club and Westfield London, as well environmental innovators The Felix Project who collect surplus food and deliver it to charities and schools.

The winners in each category, as well as the overall West London Company of the Year 202o, will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony and dinner on Friday 7 February 2020 at Twickenham Stadium. Tickets are available here

The Problem-o-meter

What is a Problem-o-meter? The Problem-o-meter is a problem measuring tool I made up to help me deal with a melt down! The other day, at bedtime my 7-year-old Lydia was really distressed, close to tears… Lydia: the tooth paste is really annoying (in the grumpiest tone you can imagine) Me: oh is it darling […]
